Bit of an edge to Gloucester Road round about half five onwards, pleased I didn't stay out beyond half seven, can see it being a challenge later. I have been in a few pubs today and bowed out gracefully in order to miss the disorder. I would guess that further scenes will occur as this evening progresses, certainly the last pub I was in saw a good ten or fifteen appear as a group wearing Italian knitwear and making a lot of noise. They will take some shifting if they decide they are comfy in that particular pub.

But, but all the football violence in Bristol happens at Ashton Gate. Most right thinking citizens know better than to go within a mile of BS3 on a matchday for fear of getting beaten up. I know this because I read it on asschat.

Rudolf Hucker
Police are looking in the area surrounding the Hobgoblin pub for a person resembling Bristol's elected Mayor, wearing a Stone Island jacket bearing the legend 'Present from Malaysia' stitched onto the back, and a Bristol Rovers 'Wembly' scarf.
