I could be wrong however I’m pretty sure they haven’t had a game at the Mem this season with 9k+ home fans.

Billy the white horse himself couldn’t hold back the marauding Gas hordes, Pete - but only because they’d punch the poor sod in the snoot.

Otherwise it would be like clearing Dodos from Mauritius ;)

It's an absolute embarrassment - mainly spotty oiks who have no knowledge of what they are actually singing about, but think it makes them look tough.

After reading that thread I have a feeling that gasfred is one of them, what a belter.

That being said all clubs have their share, it’s how it’s dealt with that matters.

To be absolutely fair.

They are ALL condemning this, but I haven't heard any of this nonsense in 15 years.

Does it go on at the Gate or in away games? Cant say I've heard it.

(So, for any Fewer who spots this, I'm not mocking you or your club, more calling out a general outrage).

Is it 1985? What is wrong with some people.

An entire season spent in the bottom half of L1. Not one day spent in the top half. The only club to achieve this feat except Shrewsbury.

To be fair to them, it's much more important where they end up rather than certain places they are. Walsall spent over a month in the top 6 and went down. So I don't really see why that's a means of criticism. When they went down in 2016 and went down in 2014 they'd barely been in the promotion and relegation spots all season.

9,859 (1,145 Tyke-ys; 8,754 Pykeys). Another season without a 10,000+ home attendance. God, they need a bigger ground. :noexp:

Final scores on their efforts "10K average over 5 games"

Charlton 8343
Luton 9037
Bradford 8417
Rochdale 8516
Barnsley 9859

Total of 44172  Just under 6000 short of the 50K they needed

Average 8834 ?

Conclusion

  • Massive Club
  • Best and most loyal fans!
  • Club needs a 30K stadium

Meanwhile in south Bristol

Reading 23309
Derby 25556

Total 48865 - over 4K more than the saggies 5 match run in just 2 matches

Conclusion

  • Soul-less empty bowl
  • Dirty Teds innum?

They finish "runners-up" to Accrington Stanley, Gillingham, Oxford Utd. and Fleetwood Town,

We narrowly miss out on playoffs to Derby and Middlesborough

"Coming for us" indeed

I'll be honest here, I hope we draw them in one of the cups next season.

I watched a bit of their game on iFollow yesterday and they are light years away from us. I couldn't watch much of it TBH, it was THAT bad.

Yes, it sounds arrogant but an on form City would humiliate them.

Marlon Pack reels away after making it  0-5 to City to reveal a 'Mind the Gap' vest under his shirt whilst cupping his ear to the ragass campers.

The gift! They just can't help themselves can they.

Perhaps this moron was either the author of "prowed" or the simpleton who headbutts buses.

And they wonder why we have this thread for them.

Don't be too hard on them, they may not have a club to support next season if the rumours are true

Can think what they like but when their club continues to give gifts as good as this on a weekly basis I’d say it’s best for them to keep quiet......

Not a fan of Lines tbh (less said of that the better :fear:) but what a thing for your Manager to say! I reckon Cockman is off to Muff.

In Nympsfield tonight………..

Gas Bloke: "Ha haaar, your lot effed it up today, dinnum!"

Me:  "Sorry mate, I don't even know your result from yesterday.  Inconsequential!"

As someone said earlier, City at Hull seems to have been their Big Match this weekend.  Why oh why can't these people see what cocks they make themselves look??????

I'm having a drink in The Bishops Tavern, and the Gas squad are all here. Going to offer some spare change to Stuart Sinclair in a minute.

Are the Cockman and Lines having a cosy drink together? Could get interesting after a night on the p!55

Because as a club its like we are sitting on tonnes of oil reserves under our feet but have no ******* digger to get to it! ( our fanbase being the oil)

Found this gem in the Lockyer thread?

What fan base would that be ?

The one that hasn't seen a 10k average attendance for 40 odd years ?

Fan base :laughcont:
