He’s been part of the two worst Walsall defences in my lifetime. He’s good going forward - but is absolutely atrocious defending wise. To be fair though SC you were crap through the whole team from November onwards. I watched you lot 4 times last year, and in the 3 games I remembered, you got a lucky goal against us against the mem and offered nothing going forward and most of the time through the second half we produced the most chances. One of the main providers for the goal was Leahy. And you kept a clean sheet. The spanking we gave you at the Bescot you had nothing in the middle and we ran through you most of the game. It was one of those games where we were just unplayable. Doesn’t happen often with us. The home win win you had against Coventry Leahy scored a last min penalty and a winner and provided most crosses and completed passes for that game. In in the FA cup second round fixture against Sunderland (which was the best I saw you play as a team) where Leahy played as an LWB he had a great game keeping a clean sheet as well as an outlet often getting the better of Maguire and McGeoch which is no mean achievement. If anything it was Leahy who was surrounded by 9 other let downs. That’s just from 4 games I’ve seen. What a belter this Moderator is. It’s no wonder Teds don’t stand a chance on their forum with unbelievable delusion at moderator level. Rovers ‘unplayable’ ......******* Gaselona! Leahy surrounded by 9 other let downs eh? Coming from a team with Jonson Clarke-Harris surrounded by a bunch of cast offs and journeymen. FML.....The delusion of the Sags is completely off the scale sometimes. We popped to the Mem as I wanted to go to our shop to buy a shirt, but it was closed when we got there. Anyway we had a quick look around the Mem and he said while its a dated stadium it has such a unique character and feel about it. We both agreed that if we could build a Lansdown 2 tier like stand where the Blue stand is 7- 10k and a Atyeo sized stand where the south stand is then then we could keep the West stand and Blackthrone end as they are and have a great looking ground that could hold 20-24k. I know Glos Rd lefties/Rose are the problem,as is parking. But there is a huge area still at Mem for development if funding could be found. If planning was granted how much would that construction cost? £10-£15m. I hope its been looked at. 7

Guest
They definitely need a 20-24k stadium, it's obvious when you are getting 7k per week.Good luck with building a couple of stands like the Lansdown and an Atyeo stand for £10 - £15 million. There is no way in this World a City fan has walked in that ground earlier and said what that buffoon quoted. Not in a million years. They really are living on a different planet. As for the ‘stadium’ I can only imagine said City fan was doubled over, roaring with laughter, his eyes wet with tears of joy, shaking his head and repeatedly slapping his thigh, saying he’d never seen anything quite like it. This was then positively interpreted as reference to uniqueness of character and feel.

Double it and they're still short plus THEY DON'T HAVE THE MONEY! I would imagine it would cost £10M just to build the Atyeo nowadays, if not more. This is more suited to their budget. Absolutely useless as it's a jigsaw puzzle but at least they could claim to be building a ground. Edited July 11, 2019 by Ska Junkie

I shan't hold my breath for a confession from one of our own though. Our cat had an imaginary friend that lived in the lounge ceiling. Daft mog would suddenly stare into space and start almost 'barking' at something only he could see. Mind you, when my lad and his mates used to spill vodka on the floor, Oliver was more than happy to ignore the Five Second Rule and slurp it up. I just wonder if icegas has the same domestic habit........hence the 'mate' thing?
