Not an ex Manager but the only England connection I can think of was that Alan Ball played for them in the early 1980's

From the forum that bans you for being a city fan.

Also the forum where anyone who criticises anything about the Gas, including the comical way they are run, are instantly accused of being ‘Teds’.

Now Notts county are no longer in the league, who takes over there mantle of oldest club in league? It would seem Stoke (1863) and forest(65) are the main contenders, with Villa, Reading, and Weds not far behind, our neighbours are about 28th(1883)love em or hate em they seem to survive what ever, while MK (2004)AFC WIM(2002)Fleetwood(1997)Newport 1984 and City 1982 are the relative new boys?

Well done. Such a prowed moment for you.

Another day, another lie........

Don’t forget attacking our players and attacking a childrens party in Nottingham - just a vile lot

This is the Amici incident I presume. Of course they line up to get autographs of Boatsy Clarke when he's in Bristol so they would believe any such shite wouldn't they.

You`d think with their prowed record of horse punching, racism, sexual assault, ground stealing, making up stories about disabled fans being attacked, stealing from their own supporters club, `sharing` season tickets and attacking their own players they`d draw their horns in a bit.

#peopleinglasshouses

they can only dream of glass houses - more like #peopleincrustyoldtents

Vile club in every possible aspect

Inside the peanut brain of the average Saghead it probably seems totally believable that a children’s party would be held inside a Wine Bar? I’ve got kids and I can think of better places for a 10th birthday party ?

I wasn’t present but I thought it was the Forest fans who ran in there after realising they’d bitten off more than they could chew?

Pretty sure no City fans were targeting kids, that’s more of a Gas thing to do.

Don't forget all of the soft porn you can handle at the "family club"  I am sure the few ladies and children who happen to be there & witness it appreciated the fithy, demeaning and sordid nature of what was on offer

If anything both City and Rovers fans have some absolute mongs supporting them.

But one thing I'm glad we don't have is a racist sect of fans. I'm gonna throw the gashead line that I know mates who see it all the time in their end behind the goal.

Always had a racist element, back in the Eastville days many of the tote end mob had links to the National Front.

Bumped into him in a cafe just by the old rovers ground when he was playing for them..

I was a bit star struck to be honest,,unlike me!

I 'met' Alan Ball back in the 1970s when he was training with England at Ashton Gate prior to a Home Nations match away to Wales in Cardiff.

Just like you, I was somewhat starstruck, but the late Alan Ball, accompanied by the also sadly-departed Ralph Coates, put me at ease, and both were more than happy to answer my inane, schoolboy questions about life as an international footballer: sadly, my abiding memory of that meeting remains Alan Ball's high-pitched voice.

Didn't realised he passed away that long ago.

As I recall, he died as a result of a heart attack trying to extinguish a bonfire in his garden.
