Bristol R*vers dustbin thread

I'd be willing to take one of their young stars on loan for my Sunday morning pub team. I couldn't guarantee him a match as we usually have 12 but if I can find him the missing second subs shirt he can get 10 mins at the end when our 45 year right back is breathing out his arse.

Was in St Ives last night, the usual happened. A gas head wore his best Tee shirt out for the highlight night of his holiday. They cannot fail to wear the clothes depicting their unique, best supported club in the world, clothes, you will always see one wearing his tramps uniform at any opportunity. They are so deluded that they believe their own bullshit. The only reason they managed close to 40k for one Wembley appearance, is because we did it one year and they wanted to prove they were as big as us. It was also deemed helpful for their planning application in the redevelopment of the rugby ground. So, the club promoted the match to help the stadium application, persuading everyone possible to attend that game. Mothers, fathers, Grandmothers, Grandfathers, brothers, sisters and wives (same woman), babies in arms and sperm samples. The pictures of them leaving in their coaches were like a tramps outing to Weymouth on a bank holiday, it wasn't anything like a group of football supporters.  Why are they so "prowed" of one of the least successful football clubs in history?

I suppose 26-28000 is close enough to 40k for them !

To be fair, they may have been talking about this game ... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Football_League_Two_play-off_Final

I’ve heard some of them spout that they took 50k to that match ?

Totally deluded.

Middle tier was closed. 40-42k at a push after they were given a few thousand extra tickets. Somewhere between 12-15k of those ‘loyal n true’ went missing for their  PO Final in 2015. Strange.

Yes, but what would Rovers want with a stand that size..?!

Are they available in mini versions, preferable with a canvas roof, otherwise it would just look odd.

You mean the chance for people to visit the brand new Wembley stadium for the first time..?

And to show the local authorities that they needed a new stadium to cater for their large fan base.

your right about it being a special event - we had just gone up under gary johnson and i saw no prospect of visiting the new wembley anytime soon - so my son and i got tickets.

in the  shrewsbury end of course.

shrewsbury scored the first goal - you could feel the pain it was wonderful! didn’t last sadly but worth the money to see the new wembley

Wonder how long it will be before one of the fantasists on their "forum" posts that the Brummies he met all prefer their set up and their supporters to us ?

I'll give it two hours

Inevitably!

"Good to be playing against Bristol Rovers today, on my way down. Proper club #brfc are, #gasheads are proper top notch folk. As for #BristolCity...their fans are proper sad, strange folks desperate to relegate us a couple of years ago. Ashton Gate smells like poo as well."

Ahhh, so this Brummie was obviously in the away end for the last game of the 16/17 season.

Clearly we upset him. Gasheads are so placid and passionless that in the same situation they probably would’ve turned on their own team and cheered on Birmingham. ‘Proper club’? ? Outnumbered by Birmingham fans in their own ground last Saturday.

I do think it’s cute that whilst on the way to a pre season game where we are not involved Brum fans still think of us.

Well this bogus Brummie must have cherished his two visits to play the famous quarterz in the past 20 years then unless he's neighbours with a load on a caravan site down Brean.

I expect they are on the Brum forum asking if they like them more than us too.

Get your facts straight Pete, apparently the blue few had 144 more than the blue noses...............at a home game !!!

Makes me wonder if they had an police escort to their own ground as per 2007 against us?
