If they’ve got the funding in place, then this one may actually happen..!

Multi sports/use stadium, hotel & offices all sound good. Cinema complex though..? Really?! Cinemas are dying on their asses and there are showcase and Cabot both close by. Sounds odd to me.

20k capacity sounds sensible & realistic.

Lets see if this one actually happens..!

20K? How are they going to cope with the hoards locked outside? It has to be at least one seat bigger than our stadium surely?

I am more concerned about yet more large areas of office space, with "to let" signs on them. Businesses are really not that interested in having permanent office space anymore.

Aiming for a new stadium within 2 years. They are looking for planning on the Fruit Market and expect the council to be helpful according to that very nice man.

You would think that area might be a little congested traffic wise. He can’t talk about funding at this stage, not before they havee asked the council to fund it presumably.

Could be some truth in this, There are a lot of interested developers for this site, have heard talk of more private rented flats, or student residential. Would expect a lot of resistance from residents to move the market for anything. A football stadium could perhaps accommodate them still ?  .

It was interesting how Wally made the statement about how selling the Mem wasn't necessary for them to build a new stadium.

That'll be because the sale of the Mem will see the loans of Dwane sport repaid with interest.

If they are going to borrow the cost of the land and the stadium build, then the Fewers better hope it generates an absolute fortune, as there won't be much change from 60million to build that, and that will be one hell of an expensive debt to service.

And they're losing :)

Found a stream so thought I would watch a bit to see how bad they are. Their new keeper came out to punch a cross, missed the ball and flattened a Blackpool player. Decent punch to be fair.

He probably did he pre-match warm up on the beach, knocking seven shades of shit out of a bunch of terrified donkeys.

No wonder the Fewers were looking forward to this, all those extra horse-like animals to punch.

How long before the 15ers start “singing” “we’ve got our stadium” AGAIN ?

I reckon their first home game this season at  Chernobyl.

Have Blackpool had a man sent off yet? Oh, oh no, they're leading 2 nil - haha!

Blackpool keeper has done literally nothing. The scum are having a go to be fair to them but, goal kicks apart, the home keeper has had nothing to do.

It's really quite poor.
