Responding to the 10,000 break-even call, the Gas duly obliged with crowds of 6,500 when their team had won every home game.

It's what they do.

Most of the fans on their forum are clear on this.

£3m annual losses plus another £1m from the low gates this season means that the club is staring down the barrel of administration and their ground being sold to recoup the AQ's money.

It cannot continue as it is for even three more seasons and they know it; hence the repeated eager leaping upon every wild rumour of new ground or owners.

Gary/Lee Johnson (both would need a frontal lobotomy to even consider it) would be about as popular as skeletor becoming the head coach at City. Still we'd probably sign his mate Neymarrr on the back of it.

Deluded or what. They have absolutely no idea of reality and live inside some 1970's dream world.

SAGS, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE.

YOU'VE GOT NO MONEY.

YOU'VE GOT A MASSIVE DEBT EVER INCREASING.

YOU NEED MINIMUM 10,000 CROWDS JUST TO BREAK EVEN.

YOU'RE THAT STRAPPED YOU COULDN'T SIGN A NON LEAGUE IRISH PLAYER.

YOUR OWNER'S GOT NO INTENTION OR IDEA OF INVESTING IN YOUR FUTURE.

YOUR "STADIUM" HAS SOME OF THE WORST FACILITIES IN THE  ENTIRE FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND BEYOND.

Other then that everything is fine......

Unfortunately, because the Fewers are so few in number, no one has replied.

It's all a bit Alanis Morissette for them.

“It’s like relegation in your away kit,

No Row M when you’ve already paid,

Watertight contracts that just didn’t stick,

And who would have thought, crap attendance figures....”

personally id have thought 6500 was pretty good considering the facts that the ground is a dump, their players are shite and the nature of fellow supporters is truly atrocious.

who in their right mind would attend there to watch pub league football, risk getting your head punched and possibly end up in the bri with food poisoning.

That's as maybe.

The key point is that 2000 fans have decided it's no longer for them, despite being in the same division with similar results etc.

Our ladies team managed to attract 3000 on Saturday, I think it's safe to say that THEY are coming for them.

1500 season tickets less this season according to one on Sagshat - that’s has to be a near %25 drop off

They are fighting fires

They’ve responded now:

Yep. Potentially as big as Derby, Wolves, Boro and West Ham. That’s average attendance 55,000 West Ham.

Jesus ****ing Christ they’re dense.

Jesus wept - nobody can be that idiotic surely.  Whoever wrote that must have done so in jest, I can't imagine anyone of sane mind would believe that (if they do, I would suggest a straitjacket as a danger to society)

I honestly believe we are seeing the beginning of the end for them. It`s never been this bad for them before I`m sure.

How sad, never mind.

With the drop in ST income and a drop in attendances, that 65k per week that they are losing must now easily be closer to 75k which is a snake a month.

The longer that goes on, the closer they come to administration.

They can't be too far off now :)

For a shite club such as them it generally isn’t too bad, but how they continue to tell everyone how amazing their fanbase is and how loyal they are, then it is absolutely piss poor. Summed up in a nutshell in @Silvio Dante‘s post.

Then in typical Sag fashion, make up complete bullshit as below:

If we are missing 2000, can always do what other teams over the river do, give loads away to bolster the attendance....but money's no object to some.

When have they ever had the same level of support as Boro, Southampton, West Ham ????Wolves, Blackburn, Derby etc ? I've had a shit weekend but that has really cheered me up, f.....g hilarious, in all honesty where the f..k do they get them from, do they really believe they are on par with those clubs, they are on par with Swindon, Exeter, Yeovil, Plymouth( although Plymouth much  bigger) some Bath City fans I know look upon Rovers as a rival ????

By 'money no object' what they mean is;

Target schools so that empty seats are gifted to fans of the future. These kids will doubtless buy a drink and visit the club shop.

As most other forward thinking clubs do.

The trouble is, if they gave loads away those that came would take one look at what`s on offer and leg it as soon as they could.

Our potential support puts us right up there with the likes of Middlesbrough, Southampton, West Ham, Wolves, Blackburn, Derby etc etc.

Even by Gaslogic criteria that comment is just plain mental. We may as well say our potential support is up there with United, Barca, Bayern and Juve.......it’s about as realistic as that guff!!

I bloody well hope not. The place is a chuffing health hazard.

Still, the Evil Post today states that the Wally family are amongst the richest owners in the league with a fortune of 400 million, so I guess 40 million for a new stadium should be no problem.
