You have got to credit the Gas though in that how can a WHOLE FANBASE be so deluded the day after they got 6,400 of their own through the turnstiles . Comparing yourself to a club that get 50k home gates?? Not one poster has asked the guy if he’s on crack cocaine.......

Then in typical Sag fashion, make up complete bullshit as below:

If we are missing 2000, can always do what other teams over the river do, give loads away to bolster the attendance....but money's no object to some.

Yes, we do give some free tickets away......to local schools and sports clubs as these are the fans of the future.

No point in the sags doing the same as they have no future.

By 'money no object' what they mean is;

Target schools so that empty seats are gifted to fans of the future. These kids will doubtless buy a drink and visit the club shop.

As most other forward thinking clubs do.

Yes we do give our freebies now and then but not as many as some think especially that Sag, and it certainly doesn’t or intended to ‘bolster’ our attendance.

I did wonder that but wasn`t sure of the numbers - our capacity is so big nowadays I lose track.

It`s a lot easier to visualise a couple of hundred sat in a leaky tent I guess.

It’s only taken the Fewers 4 Home games to overtake our attendance v Leeds.

Coming for us, Tick Tock, 82ers, Shitheads.

?

I'd be surprised if free tickets are counted in the attendance figure anyway.

Thought it was paid tickets only.

200, 300 tickets for kids every game? Say 2 or 3 extra stewards needed per 100? £100 per steward for the day. £300 outlay? Sell 7 kits to the 300 of them & that's your money back, or 100 of the 300 kids buying a drink.

2K is just an imaginary number made up to form a stick with which to beat “they Teds”.......that number was then multiplied by a different imaginary number then compared to their actual attendances and the answer was that they are of similar size to West Ham, Wolves, Middlesbrough, Derby and Blackburn.

It took a few years but scientists have finally worked out #Gaslogic in action.....

For a shite club such as them it generally isn’t too bad, but how they continue to tell everyone how amazing their fanbase is and how loyal they are, then it is absolutely piss poor. Summed up in a nutshell in @Silvio Dante‘s post.

So how many of the 15,000 season tickets were given away then? ?

On the Stanley matchday thread they`re saying that the bloke who scored the penalty had coins thrown at him (mentioned it in his post match interview apparently).

The family club on show again.

So they do have a few quid flying about the place! They literally can't afford to be doing that, they have a stadium to save up for.

For once I don’t believe that. A rovers fan with money in his pocket. :laughcont:

They probably take all their old francs and pesetas with them for this very purpose.

To be fair , the chap who scored the pen was goading the rovers fan's. Never understand why the don't just celebrate in front of there own fans.
