Talk of a boycott is cheap at these early stages, an easy excuse for a lack of enthusiasm to attend at all. I wonder what an equivalent fixture at an equivalent stage would have generated “pre-boycott”?

Bristol Rob
I think they need more than 9000 through the door to cover their 65k a week loss. 65k x 52wks = £3,380,000 Divide that by 22 home games, £153,636 (loss per match) Let's say everyone pays twenty five quid (they won't, assume kids and OAPs pay less). This means that they need an additional 6145 people paying twenty five quid per home game to cover that weekly loss.
Unan
Their weekly loss is far higher than that now, that was when Higgs was even tighter with the purse strings.

The capacity is the figure in green. Despite having the best start to a season for 2 decades they only fill their tiny stadium by 59.9% on average. How remarkably ‘loyal’ they are.... During our first season back in the Championship we had a reduced capacity of around 15k. We spent most of the season in the bottom 3, getting dicked on a semi regular basis (even after LJ took over) and only secured safety with 2 games to spare yet we had the most ‘full’ stadium outside the Prem. They’ve got no excuse for their shit crowds.

This our league by comparison by the way. We have only had 7 home games compared to the Rovers 9, we have also had more TV coverage of our games. Their total gates over 9 games amount to just over 66k, two more games at our average will take us to over 195k. The Forest game is already looking to be well in excess of 22k on it's own so we could be looking at over 200k after 9 games. Mind the Gap is not a big enough insult anymore.
