BS2 Red
Even if the family are worth far more than that, it's pretty meaningless. We've had an actual billionaire as owner for a long time and it didn't stop us struggling in League One, getting relegated from the Championship and has yet to get us into the Premier League. Wael's family being worth £80m, £200m or £500m also doesn't mean they'll put any cash into a horrible little club of inbreds.

Whilst they are at the Mem and limited to a percentage of income against the wages they can pay, they are always going to be fighting with one hand tied behind their backs. They need a new stadium, initially to consolidate and then to build.

If the President is telling trusted friends in the Bristol area that he has 100 million to spend on BRFC then either his wealth has been seriously underestimated or he has taken leave of his senses. I suppose the inheritance has enabled him to carry out some works to the colony and state that he's in a much stronger position by transferring the debt from the club to himself, which was the same thing anyway, as no money has changed hands. As such, he now seems to be stronger, when it comes to negotiating any deal as part of a consortium. Whereas before, he was only a part owner covering his own debt, now it's all his own debt. Spread some BS about having 100m to spend, which could be true if he borrowed it from his families bank, then he could be invited to the table as discussions to develop the Fruit Bowl. Sounds as if it's just bravado, otherwise he'd be saying he'll buy the Fruit Market himself and self finance the new stadium. My stance is, he's posturing and desperate to be invited, that's why the rumours have been put out there.

I've also attached the highest attendances at the tent shop and Ashton Gate (away includes the total attendance so I've not shown this). They want to build a 20,000 - 30,000 capacity stadium yet since 2017 they've only gone over an attendance of 10,000 5 times. Some rovers fans are lovely (Miah for one) but there is a gap between us and them and unless Wael is prepared to invest hard like Lansdown that Gap will remain. Swede
Wouldn't it be ironic if it was the moronic sags' wetting their plastic pants and crying into their shandy's over Wycombe that helped galvanise them into ultimately winning promotion. Well done Wycombe, a job well done & even the winning goal was scored by an ex sag. You couldn't write it! Unlucky da sags.

They desperately tried to save themselves from Non League by trying to put another club who had major financial problems out of business over a transfer made years prior. Detestable maggots. Hope Matty bags a hat trick against them next season. 2

You Do The Dziekanowski
With the possibility of football returning with no away fans it could be a struggle next season for the blue few financially No crowd boosters with games against Sunderland, Plymouth, Swindon, Ipswich, Portsmouth they could struggle to turn the lights on at the end of the season with only 5k people turning up for a home game
