Have they been showering in the sprinklers or something? No, they just stand out in the rain and the groundsman squirts a bit of washing up liquid on them. It's cheaper than turning the showers on. bcfc01
On a serious note - does anyone know why they have blokes wandering past the pitch in the rain dressed in just a towel and flip flops ? Why do they have to shower away from the dressing rooms ? Are they renovating the dressing room showers (fat chance) ?

Guessing it's a COVID thing, changing rooms and the like being separated aren't they? There was something mentioned during the Everton game against WBA about WBA having to go to the car park for changing facilities, while Everton got to use the normal one. Rich
Interesting article in the post about sites considered for Bristol's arena. One site assessed and deemed unsuitable for reasons below, was the fruit market. It states it was not big enough for their planned arena (17,000). Also multiple lease holders. So it begs the questions, how big a stadium could be built and, are those multiple leaseholders the reason nothing appears to be happening regarding the purchase of the site by a consortium with, no direct connection to BRFC. From the Post article: Despite being further out from the city centre it was considered that the site “occupies a more accessible location to Bristol city centre” However availability of the site was considered an issue because of multiple leases covering individual units on the site. The site was also deemed too small for the arena complex that YTL has planned in Filton.

If it goes ahead there will be housing etc as well. So, as you say, how big a stadium could also be built?
fatchers
They don't need anything bigger than the Memorial Ground as they can't fill that. They also have a long history of less than 8000 crowds and dwindling support.

They of course are totally different from the plastic red ones that were hiding in similar cupboards and were only attracted to a shiny new stadium, and uh.......... hang on...
