Uncle Bob started it all off. Named after Bob Bennett who worked for the Bristol Post

I believe Peter Post took over when the Pillar Box Club had a second lease of life.

Reminds me of the trip to Twerton.

Think it was a 0-0. Arrived early with tickets in the Rovers End.

First time to Twerton and surprised you could walk around the 3 home terraces. Had my younger nephew from Horfield and he was immediately spotted by Gas supporting mates on the open end and in their enclosure. Beat an ‘orderly’ retreat to the terrace in front of the ‘grandstand’ and told him to keep quiet.

Teams came out and found we were surrounded by a few dozen City fans.....and breathe!

Anyone else there? It was on the side terrace closest to the away fans.

Remember pre-kick off a few City got a bit of a pasting on the opposite side of the pitch.

Well, this'll be interesting....

With the Fewers (apparent) dislike of anything Bristol Sport based and their so called dismissal of 'franchise' which is why both of them stopped watching rugby when they moved to BS3, you have to wonder where they'll stand on getting a potentially life saving jab at the 'Bristol Sport Vaccine Franchise Sporting Arena' where tax-payer/government money has gone to Ashton Gate to help facilitate the rollout of the Covid injections.

I'm sure that the staff are already trying to find longer, blunter needles just for the blue few.

Any for any fewers reading this...

WON'T BE THE FIRST TIME YOU'VE LEFT BS3 FEELING LITTLE PRICKS!!!! Agggah!

We could always do their jabs in a tent in the car park to make them feel at home and less anxious. And only have about three other people in there with them so it feels like they`re at the mem.

It would also save us having to deep clean AG afterwards too - we could just burn the tent when all twenty of them have been vaccinated.

They could always ask the nurse to meet them half way,( say the Center) in the "tunnel "....Mind you ,it hasn't been used for years, so can't vouch for its cleanliness, but that's never worried them before !

It`s probably full of the mummified corpses of the three or four thousand s*gs that would have been at AG instead of the few hundred that actually turned up.

They will probably all be locked outside.

No doubt gassheads in the vulnerable category would rather die a slow painful death from Covid, than go to "Trashton" (such wit..!) for their vaccine...?

If they're already watching the famous blue quarterzzzz then i suggest they're already beyond saving and the vaccines should be used for a more worthy cause.

If the precious blue few are worried about having a ***** instead of standing next to a few like on a normal bleak Saturday afternoon I'm sure it can be injected into a 2 inch bung so that they can use it as a suppository.

The Government has decided that Ashton gate will bee used as a super hub for vaccination against COVID 19. This was announced last week as Ashton Gate would make a fantastic venue with it's modern stadium.

However in order not too upset the blue few and in interest of fair play the Government has decided that the memorial stadium will be used for vaccination against the small pox virus. A spokesman said they couldn't think of a better place as the memorial stadium is the home of a small poxy club.

Have Sheffield United won any games this season?

2 draws this season, lost 18 out of the last 20 games incl end of last season. Shocking run of form. They could fail to pass Derby's record low of 11pts. Which, for a team that finished 9th last season and flirted with top 6/7 for Europa League etc for a while, would be a meltdown of epic proportions.

Should be interesting to hear what Radio 5Live have to say about the 'Swamp', presumably using some words that they're currently looking up in the dictionary...to express the full horror.

Not heard what they’ve said about the Swamp but they’ve been bigging up Tisdale and the team.
