That’s incorrect on both counts ... many moons ago I spent a huge amount of time in Nottingham - the rivalry is very intense as it is in any two club city - that’s why I laugh at the ignorance of so many so-called football fans who say ‘Notts Forest’ - the reaction to that up there from Magpie fans is extraordinary but it re-affirms my faith in football rivalries! Fans of both Nottingham clubs are certainly not keen on each other and that’s putting it mildly.

And as for the potteries, their rivalry also burns bright - to suggest otherwise is to patronise an area containing proper fans of traditional football clubs ...

This is very true, you only have to look at what happened a couple of years ago when Stoke`s U21s played Vale away in the Checkatrade Trophy - it was carnage off the pitch.

Their tiny fanbase believes everything they are told! Didn’t Wael say the stadium at the Fruit Market would be finished within two years? And that was over a year ago?

Yeah and at the point no discussions had even taken place. Only few weeks ago this happened and no representative from them attended only developer's who had submitted an interest with the market. Laughable and SL would probably but it just because it's Rovers .

Cheers! Confirms that their announcements about a new stadium turn out, once again, to be utter rubbish! How do they put up with this shite? And, as Barry Davies might say: “Quite frankly, who cares?!” ????

Joey Barton ????? I can't believe he has stooped so low.  Guessing it won't be long before he will be making a visit to Small Street for something or other. You'll know if you see him in a suit.

His dad did warn him that if he didn't pull his socks up he would end up at Bristol Rovers mind.

Appointing as manager a man who might well be in prison for the start of next season is a very brave decision.

Some might say a lunatic decision.

With Barton’s previous record it’s highly likely. Maybe that Wally’s get out clause won’t have to pay him off

He can do his team talks from his cell via Zoom.

Although they'll have to remember to switch Babestation off the monitor.

Possibly this could also be David Pipe's opportunity for his first step into assistant management having retired from playing in only 2019.

They could even have a new third kit to mark the appointments.
