Was thinking that earlier - How times have changed !

I think we could almost put out a full X1 of internationals (including U23s) these days couldn`t we? I could only dream of that back in 1973!

I wonder what the saggies are watching on TV tonight. We`ve been trying to decide which of our players we`ll watch in their respective Euro qualifiers whereas it`s probably been British Bake Off or something for them.

Probably watching Hot Fuzz with the village idiot wearing one of the famous quarters 😀😀😀

You’ve got to see their claims are valid. They’ve also forgotten to mention that as they were taking on Accrington last Saturday, there were also games kicking off at Fleetwood, Bradford & Cambridge.

No wonder so few were able to make it to the Mem..!

On international break weekends when the squatters played you would think they would sell out . Fans from clubs all over England love the rovers . Apparently

I would only consider going to the Mem to watch a small town club beat the Gas , wearing the Gas away kit and the result meant that the Jolly Rogers got relegated out of the League but we all know that is so far fetched that it could  never ever happen...

I know at least one who is on there. He purposely comes out with completely deluded comments that are really far fetched. Amazingly some of the delusional ones actually agree with and like some of his posts. I think he goes under the name of Henbury Gas or something like that?

I’d tell them to F’ right off, don’t want any of them near AG. They said they’d watch from the pavements so let them prove it.

If they play on a pitch we will watch them from the car park. It’s what we do because we’re so tight fisted like our owners!

I watched this in Longwell Green cinema and as soon as the Sag shirt came out with the camp pirate marker penned out I heard some Saggies shouting “Yes!” whilst spanking their monkeys inside of their popcorn tub.

Yes this was on the previous page on the thread, along with their twitter feed which claimed it was a non-story because there were so many other distractions during this seasons home matches. You know like a washed out balloon festival and a cricket match that started 2 hours after they finished playing.

Really? I would charge them some ridiculous game by game fee and insist on the payment up front. It might help if we buy the Fanta now then...

Even if they were getting that figure every week, at least if it was around 90% of capacity, Like Portsmouth, you could still make a business case for a new stadium. But when they are only filling a very small stadium to only just over 50%, there seems to be no justification for it. It's yet another reason for the Council to turn down any plans they might have, but I am sure the deluded few will point to their away following which is totally irrelevant and made up anyway.

More to the point at least 3,000 on average away from their so called break even figure and with the Bury game one less to play at home that figure will be more.

I think the sags are doing a great job of putting themselves down the 5hitter by not turning up, but I expect it will be someone else's fault as usual.

We could check how many fans any of West Ham, Wolves, or Southampton exist globally - its pretty much the same thing

We seem to be running a bit thin on Sag material by digressing to whether female commentators should be allowed in the men’s game.

All I know is that anyone who attends the Minimal Tented Village to report on their match and doesn’t blow smoke up the arses of the faithful and true will immediately be branded as a ‘Gert Ted’ and abused in their ‘loved all over the country’ family club manner.

Anyway, let’s get back on point......’Ave it!

Page 20 of today's "Metro"; a Leeds fan applied to become Spurs manager in 1999. His only experience is the game Football Manager.

Spurs wrote back with a rejection letter. He now has a collection of 68 rejection letters and wants to complete a set of all 92 EFL & Prem clubs.

Due to his experience, would he get a rejection from the gas?

Those thick ***** don't even know the offside rule.

'how could lino not see Sancho 2 yards offside when he was right in line!!'

'Not a fan of VAR but when officials are so blatantly incompetent as last night , I mean the offside was not millimetres it was Metres!'

Square balls with the goalscorer being behind the ball obviously not a thing in League One.

I know it's not for a while but family circumstances mean I find myself in the southwest on the same weekend the Lads are at Bristol. I've never been to an away game and fancy going to this one.

I'm completely clueless: for little clubs like that can away fans just buy tickets on the gate?

Found his one on us https://englishsoccerguide.com/seeing-a-game-at-bristol-city-fc/ It's us hosting Brighton in the 2016/17 season. One quote:

"The stadium [Ashton Gate], frankly, was a revelation. It fairly gleams compared not only to Memorial Stadium across town but to many of the stadiums I’ve visited."

Do you have inside information then?
