Slacker
Bristol seems to be in roughly the right place so good enough for me!
Erithacus
Experts forecast that in a few decades time Bristol and Bath will meet in the middle. Perhaps the citizens of the Roman city want to get nearer the seaside?
Fiale
Seems they can't decide where Bath should be placed on their line

Not for the first time I took my seat in Teignmouth going to the match on Saturday but had to give it up to an old lady by Exeter and stand all the way to Bristol in their cramped rubbish trains that can't even go along our sea wall if there's a but of spray off the sea. On a brighter note, we didn't have to go through Castle Cary or Bath.

On a brighter note, we didn't have to go through Castle Cary or Bath. The new GWR IET trains had a special order for Devon and Cornwall. See GWR ordered several class 800/801's but ALSO ordered a few specialist made class 802's just for Devon and Cornwall. The 802's have a more powerful engine to tackle the topography and they've also been specifically tested by the manufacturer to withstand sea water (because of the Dawlish sea wall) Once one of these new trains going along the sea wall broke down, and GWR tried to blame the manufacturer, but upon closer inspection, GWR had used the wrong class of train for the route. The class 220/221's that Cross country uses cannot operate along the sea wall when there is a bit of spray because the salt water interferes with the electrics. It was first discovered in 2001 and hence they stop operating by Exeter when the weather gets bad.
Redtucks
Considering he's a bit of an expert on trains (albeit GWR rather than CrossCountry), NTTDS is quiet on this!!!
