I agree Birmingham would be the better location. England have the capability to play games in the north (Newcastle, Manchester and Liverpool), we have lots of suitable grounds in London too (arsenal, Tottenham, west ham) but few modern and suitable large 50k+ venues in the centre of the country. Also with all English cups and play offs playing their, a more central yet still accessible stadium in Birmingham would have been favourable imo.
