In honour of Plymouth getting relegated today I would just like to say......POP.

That goes back such a long way. Strange, I don't even register them anymore but will never forget what they were like all that time ago.

I can`t lie, I feel a bit sorry for them. I live among them and know a fair few proper fans of theirs and they don`t really hate us, they`re more envious of what we`ve achieved in relation to them. For two clubs who, when I started supporting City, were very much on a par, the fortunes of us and them since couldn`t be further apart really.

Plus they hate the s*gs with a passion so that`s to their immense credit!

The Net Centre really was awesome

Can still find Rivals pages via the wayback machine and I have a backup of it all somewhere, the pre-Rivals site is resurrected here: http://bsthree.co.uk/timemachine/netcentre/INDEX.HTM

I still have a long set of fan profile emails, would be amazing to match them to OTIB users, they never got published as it was towards the end.

Edit: and right at the start there was this list too, I recognise a few names: http://bsthree.co.uk/timemachine/netcentre/ONLINE.HTM

Awesome. Shame the forum isn’t available to view. I think I was RegBS3 on it. Great times.

Marvin Brown 'future superstar ?

Also this bit of prophecy. "One City player who should soon be sharing in that spirit long term is highly rated young defender Andrew Jordan.
The central defender is holding out on signing a new deal, but Wilson remains hopeful of securing the services of the Scottish Under-21 international, confirming "I have spoken with Joe (Andrew's father, the former City boss) and, again, I feel that it went very positively - I am hopeful we can reach an agreement." Jordan Snr. himself added "Andrew is quite happy at Bristol City and there are no other clubs in the equation - There is a contract, he just needs good vibes that he is in a good position to compete hard for a regular first-team place.""

What a blast from the past! I'm not on that list (although I remember registering for it). Didn't remember that you went to Aston Uni either. But just for nostalgia; how times change...

The highlight of the Rivals.net era will always be the night that Cardiff lost to Stoke in the playoffs.

Absolute classic night. I think every active poster from the site ripped into them. Refresh and a whole new page of abuse topics

Absolutely no recollection of Jordan or Meechan.
