In a game we needed to win today we only have 2 shots on target

Up until the 75th minute against Millwall only 1 shot on target

We seem to create scoring opportunities but in front of goal we are woeful we need to bring some real quality in up front next season some one that can put away half chances as as we havent had anyone who can do that this season.

It’s been a bit like that at home all season as well!

Yes our home form has been awful too the games against Millwall Ipswich Wigan to name a few  if we had taken maximum points (which we should have) we would have been on course for automatic

Let's not be daft. We started the season slowly, we put a brilliant run together and got into the picture. At Christmas it looked like maybe 10th at best.

Top 2 was never a realistic goer. Top 2 were certainly the best 2 and tbh the top 3 were in many ways deservedly the top 3.

We should've done better at home, absolutely but 5th or most likely the realistic cap of our ambition even during that lengthy unbeaten run.

Okay yes mathematics likely prove your point more so. Another counterpoint maybe that of momentum beginning sooner had we beat Stoke or Reading in the Autumn- games in which we deserved more incidentally.

Regardless though, even if Maths and theoreticals prove me wrong, the fact is that while momentum and confidence feed off each other, the margin for error was and would have been so small that in practical terms it would have been very unlikely.

Our movement up front is worse than our shooting.

Too slow in build up...it allows defenders to get organised. That's why we are so much better on counter attack.

We need  someone like Bobby back always moving and creating space - I still think Pato missed him most last season their pass and move in the final third was sometimes brilliant.

For all his strengths Weimann did not replace this part of Bobby’s game.
