downendcity Posted May 6, 2019 Report Share Posted May 6, 2019 I think there is an element of Palmer being the right player but at the wrong time. I reckon he is just the type of player we need if we are to properly challenge at the top of the table, with a style of play that would enable us to convert more of our possession and pressure into goals. The problem is that despite his obvious ability, he does not seem to really fit into the way LJ sets us up and wants us to play, which seems to focus more on countering the opposition.
