LJ talked about the difference in approach recently. I do wonder if never signing or developing young players will only ever bring short term success. Having to keep replacing experienced players with more of the same can be an expensive business, especially if they have limited sell on value. More so if he wants to sign experienced Prem players, though his judgement has been very good so far. Even David Brooks, now one of the best young players around, was not an automatic pick.
