Blimey. He has been outstanding all season for Bath. Still a bit surprised we have got him though!

Surprised as in you thought he’d go somewhere better?

Or surprised we think he’s good enough?

My mate's brother is Cundy's centre half partner (Jack Batten) and I've spoken to him about him before and he thinks he's a fantastic player. Bit of an odd signing given his age though.

Also spoke very highly of Semenyo, said he's going to the very top.

Surprised we think he is good enough. But then having seen all of Bath's highlights, highlights that go on a lot longer than what we get to see of our games, he is clearly a very good defender.

He is down as being 6 foot 2 and a half. And that is quite tall. But I'd say he looks a bit taller than that so that might be wrong. Very dominant Flint like centre half.

Late developer?  Thought Pro game passed him by?  Big chance?  Last chance?

Bit like Flint!

I don’t know his full story but was at Villa and Oxford as a youth. So will have had training at high levels. Seems like he has had 3 good seasons in a row now too. I think below the EFL there are quite a few talents who can play at various levels of the FL. I don’t mind the age so much especially as a CB.

Who knows we could be buying him to loan to GJ? It is a bit tongue and cheek but no doubting if we can buy players and they have a good season in the conference they can be worth a bit more later.

I wonder what Vyner and Taylor-Moore make of this news.

(Personally, I think neither will have a career playing centre half for City)

Hopefully that they are going to do everything in their power to improve & impress LJ. Also to grab their chance when it's given. To be fair to Taylor Moore, I think he was impressing last pre season & then got injured. COYR

Plenty of players make a late move into the pro ranks & do well..

I remember Swindon signing Bryan Wade from bath when he was 22/23 and working as a stonemason!...,managed to 'carve out a career for himself ? ..

mark shail came from non league and what a player he was

They sometimes have that extra desire to make a real go if it too.

One of the five pillars , a rock in defence.
