Good to see it pick up a BAFTA for best mini series and Jared Harris getting the leading actor gong too.

What muppets decided the rugby World Cup final was better sporting moment than the Cricket World Cup final needs proper head wobble

They didn’t, this has been addressed on Twitter. The award goes to the TV production rather than the actual event (agree or disagree with that as you will) so it’s not saying it was a better sporting moment.

It was nothing to do with sporting moment. It was an award for the coverage of the match. ITVs budget for the final was huggggeee, so they could have expected to win it.
