Better than friendlies for sure- no real weak side, though I guess Switzerland the weakest of the 4...and even they are pretty useful these days!

Should be good- we have a fair of chance of winning it too. I hope we take it fairly seriously,  building that winning culture- no matter the first step- is and can be very important.

Not completely out of the question, but it’s the flights back Monday that are expensive it seems, from both Porto and Lisbon. I could take another day off and come back Tuesday maybe

We’re flying to Milan Monday and then Milan to Gatwick. Bit of a pain but it was the cheapest we could find when we booked it.

So, first semi final tonight. Portugal v Switzerland.

I'm guessing that Portugal will be the favourites for this game as the home team?

Seems to be quite a healthy contingent of England fans gone across to Portugal for tomorrow's games and the final, although I haven't really read or heard much about the game tomorrow in in the media. Maybe it'll pick up if we get to the final...

Controversial but I reckon pound for pound we just nudge out Netherlands as the best squad.

Well up for this all of a sudden.

Is that Felix the highly rated youngster? Be interesting to see how he does.

Yes with the €120m release clause. First time I've seen him too. Hasn't justified the hype yet but it's only one glorified friendly I suppose. Ronaldo on the other hand... continues to live up to his own standards; I could watch that goal again and again.

No idea how the ref could watch that on VAR and award a pen...

Nor me.

But glad he did.

Swiss deserve it.
