Erithacus Posted June 8, 2019 Report Share Posted June 8, 2019 The powers that be have decided to change next year's May Day Bank Holiday to Friday 8th to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-48565417 Seems a little odd, if well intentioned, to move a public holiday. Got to keep the workers in line mate. Just think of the cost to the economy of an extra day off.
