Only 3 games on this date I could find were 4-0 vs Exeter Feb 29 2000 1-1 vs Grimsby Feb 29 1992 3-1 vs Oldham Feb 29 1964 All home fixtures. So a pretty good record! If so, the bank holiday has been moved next year to the following Friday, so this might have something to do with games being played on the Saturday instead. Just checked, I had a text on 6th July last year telling me about Bristol's opening two fixtures But the league has shifted its start date this year because of the Rugby World cup, so maybe a bit later this summer?
