where's the joy
According to a die hard Brentford fan who happens to be a good pal. our new goalie is 'a brilliant shot stopper but, just like Dracula, afraid of crosses' "he has a mistake in him most games, especially corner kicks,". sounds very like Frankie to me, although he has age and size on his side and crucially has terrific distribution, very unlike Frankie!! Lrrr
Well if he could shot stop, distribute and command his box he'd probably be playing in the prem
Mr Popodopolous
From the excellent stats by @Davefevs in another thread. That bit about crosses sounds quite plausible- the punch/claim ratio when Maenpaa, Bentley and O'Leary compared had Maenpaa on top certainly. I believe fee or no fee- unless there's injuries or Bentley proves even better in pre-season, Maenapaa may well merit beginning v Leeds as No.1- healthy competition for places should only strengthen us too. WWred
The boys only 25 years old and in goalkeeper terms that is pretty inexperienced. Plenty of time for the lad to improve his game ten fold regardless of his level at the moment. Brilliant signing IMO.

He'll have a proper centre back pairing in front of him this season so will be fine
