Saving Britain's Hedgehogs.. (Aizoon/Horace?)

Just watching a C5 programme about the plight of Britain's hedgehogs and the fight to save them from the real threat of extinction in the very near future.

Anyway it got me thinking … where's 'our' Aizoon and Horace disappeared to?  It's been quite sometime since they have been seen or heard, hope all's well, but its been a bloody long hibernation..

It's incredible how Britains once large and healthy population of hedgehogs (not so long ago) has reached crisis point so soon and according to experts will die out completely within the next 5 - 6 years if work to help them is not successful.

Come On You Hogs!  Good Luck.  we're all rooting for you.

There was loads happy as Larry for years down by Clarence road but then red trousers thought it would be a good idea to put a bike lane in which to this day nobody uses, wildlife takes a back seat to pillocks on a bike it seems

Actually have fostered a hedgehog and had it in a rabbit hutch in my shed every year for 4 years a different hedgehog that has been injured/ had sickness and has been cured or built back up to strength. Once healthy, before taken into wild, stays in a cool, quiet environment, fed once a night and weighed/examined every week.

Simple, not at all heroic and helping hedgehogs.

Would recommend. Helps with stress and MH

(sounds like an ad but isn't)
