Mr Popodopolous
He's at it again! https://www.buryfc.co.uk/news/latest-statement-07-08-2020/september/september-update/ It could be classed as a rallying call of sorts but to whom exactly? They AFAIK have no players, they (probably) have no or very few staff, they have a ground which surely has charges hanging over it, they have no League to play in and how many Bury fans will support them with him in charge?? Day of writing, is a year since they got kicked from the Football League, sad day. He has a point sometimes, about the EFL and FA in general terms but then even a broken clock is right twice a day. I mean across his varied statements, not this one in isolation. Not that he expresses it clearly and coherently at all! However what he has basically is a shell of a club. He has the website, he has Gigg Lane and er, what else?? He's owner/Chairman of...er well, of what exactly! A building plot

A variety of charges still appear at CH including over Gigg Lane- that may hinder what he can or can't do with it!

Great to see Bury back from the damage the charlatan Steve dale caused. Hopefully they can be placed as near the EFL as possible. National League North perhaps?
Major Isewater
Better still that they give them the third place in League 2 . 1

That said looking at the news section on the site Gigg Lane has now been ‘tidied up’ sufficiently to hold a Bury women’s game recently - the first game there since 2019. Speaking to my brother in law recently (Bury fan who was one of those helping getting Gigg back into shape) there is still some disagreements between Those owning the stadium and AFC Bury ( basically to do with staying with the original club rather than forming a new one). That said my BIL thinks, as I do, that inevitably the 2 will come together at Gigg Lane eventually.
