Huddersfield Town new kit (Merged)

Currently playing in the kit in a friendly. However it’s obviously an elaborate and clever stunt from Paddy Power to get them all over social media outlets.

They’ll probably announce the actual kit tomorrow after a slap on the wrist from the FA.

Yeah, they definitely won't be allowed to wear it in an official game.

Whoever dreamed this up at Paddy Power will be getting a raise!

It was 10-1 - and our very own Andy May scored the ‘one’ - I was at Aldershot away that day watching us getting dicked by The Shots who brought on a sub by the name of Glyn Riley ...

‘ 48 hours after the first release of a home shirt that has been much-discussed amongst Town fans and the wider football community – and which was also worn in the pre-season win at Rochdale on Wednesday night – a blue and white striped shirt featuring no sponsor logo has now been revealed.

The shirt is part of Paddy Power’s new ‘Save Our Shirt’ campaign; an initiative that is backing a move towards unbranded football kits, effectively returning the shirt back to the fans.’

So basically PP have paid for sponsorship but not put their logo on the shirts leaving them ‘unspoilt’

Shirts look so much better without poxy sponsors plastered across it

Nice One

PP very clever , as the publicity and approval they will gain will outweigh whatever they’d have had with their logo splattered across the shirt

I read yesterday that Huddersfield have breached the rules on the location on shirts where sponsorship is permitted.

Be interesting  to see what happens next.....

Or you could read the post situated above yours, for full clarification on the matter..!

Can’t believe that anyone , including the FA were gullible enough to even consider the original shirts were the actual new shirt , as they could clearly have never been used in competition due to the various rules about sponsors logos

Hate the way youngsters are being enticed to bet but some of PPs advertising , you have to say is genius, particularly this

A week of outrage and publicity and now revealing the shirts will be unbranded , loads more publicity , a new hashtag save the shirt ongoing , and lots of approval from football supporters all over Id suggest

Fair play for the actual shirt which looks nicer without a sponsor but cynical view its still a gambling company complaining about large shirt sponsors (majority of which are rival gambling companies) launching a fake shirt and online 'banter' gaining more attention and publicity then you would by just sponsoring them and now trying to come across as the good guys whilst still promoting online gambling to the masses which is huge problem now in this country especially to young kids on social media... bit toxic for me.

Great banter lads and thanks so much for piously "returning the shirt to the fans".

Nah. They're still a betting company. This is still the same company that helped Tony10 (and no doubt others) to keep gambling even when they were clearly in way too deep. They're still *****.

They have always been one step ahead of their competition for getting publicity. I have been in a VIP box at Cheltenham with them and they really do have a "head of mischief" employee. The original Rhodri Giggs advert was superb and got publicity everywhere before the watered down one appeared on terrestrial tv. Some of their "fan denials" are funny and crazy as well.
