handsofclay
Blind Alleys to be clearly signposted on the pitch as it is so frustrating watching a talented player run down one. Surely, if they were clearly signposted it would remove a lot of frustration and increase the enjoyment of the game.

Instead of a penalty shoot-out the ref lifts up his shirt to reveal a countdown conundrum style jumble of letters tattooed on his chest. A designated player from each team must solve the puzzle then run to the nearest tattoo parlour and get the answer tattooed on their chest. First correctly inked player to return earns his side the victory.
Wanderingred
Always thought the away goals rule was a bit stupid. I get that it's trying to encourage attacking football but it simply does not prove that one side is better than another after 180 minutes. Then if the rule only applies after extra time, the away team gets 30 more minutes than their opponents to score an away goal. How is that fair? Needs scrapping imho. Milan djurichimovic
Iv always wondered why from corners or crosees why no ones ever tried a line out rugby style corner say webster or fammy lift pato or hunt in in the air to nod the ball in 10 foot in the air

Wanderingred
How about putting a relegation place in mid table.. say 14th. Would make things interesting on the final day, with some sides needing to win, and others deliberately throwing the game to.make sure they avoid it. BS2 Red
Keep 4 Champions League places for England, but only for league champions. So next season Man City, Norwich, Luton and Lincoln would enter.

Taking this a step further, they could incorporate snakes and ladders into the league table - but on a random basis throughout the season. It could see a team going up the ladder from 20th place into the play offs, or a team in 3rd place coming down the snake into mid table.

Red Skin
Introduce the ability to play an It's A Knockout joker. Each team allowed to play two jokers each season. This only has to be declared on the week preceding the fixture to which it applies. This doubles the points and goals tally you accumulate for the fixture. Must be played against two different teams. Lanterne Rouge
I`ve often wondered (but am too lazy to work it out) what the table would look like if results were on aggregate. So if you lose 1-0 away but win 2-0 at home you win the tie and get six points. It would make for some attacking performances at the end of the season if you knew you had to score three or four to win but I guess sides would shut up shop to protect their `first leg` lead too. Taking it even further, make it throughout all 4 divisions.. eg the team who is 11th in the Premier League after 22 games swaps places with the 23rd placed team in league 1.
