5 in 5 now, injury time winner yesterday.

A loan shining light in an otherwise forgettable week for our loanees (although obviously a few did not play). From the OS:

Young striker Louis Britton, pictured, is averaging a goal a game on at Yate Town, with his latest the match winner versus Metropolitan Police.

He managed a shot which the goalkeeper would have been expected to save, but the City forward’s effort caught the shotstopper out and the ball crossed the line.

The 1-0 win for the Non-League Premier side ensures back-to-back victories.

Goalkeeper Lochlan Robertson played his part in earning Evesham United a 1-1 draw at home to Halesowen Town. The result means the teams will meet again in the FA Trophy replay on Tuesday night.

Liam Walsh suffered defeat with Coventry City. (1-0 loss v Tranmere) while Jonny Smith’s Oldham were well beaten 6-1 versus Mansfield after going down to nine men.

Rory Holden played 69 minutes in Walsall’s 4-1 loss to Leyton Orient, and Robbie Cundy saw Torquay United beaten 2-0 against Notts County.

And both Vince Harper and Tom Harrison featured for Gloucester who were beaten 1-0 by Gateshead.

Zak scored one In Aberdeen`s win today and the snake slithered in to score Oxford`s winner.

Due to an injury crisis Vyner played in midfield and did well:

Seems like Vyner may stay in midfield from now on. I think this is not a bad thing at all.

All the experience he has had at right back and if he can get a season now in centre midfield, it will make him very versatile.

He is still physically developing and maybe not ready for centre back.

I never have seen him as a CB. He is too small and too weak imo. Idk what he is listed as height wise but I have seen most players quite close and he has never been near as tall or built as Taylor Moore. Like him at RB due to his agility and always thought he defended tricky wingers well.

As for CM well never expected it but has the athleticism for it. I’d have to see him actually play there to think it is a viable option going forward but glad to hear he did well. Think he is a champ player but think he is one being left behind by the growth of the club.

Anyone have video of the goal? Had a look but can’t find it

Jonny Smith assist again last night against Walsall in Oldhams 2-0 win. Great through ball to Akzanpo who slotted bottom right. I must say Rory Holden did well for Walsall but Cam Pring got injured at the end of the first half and was substituted at half time.

Full time score Oldham 2 Walsall 0

Max oleary man of the match today. Sounds like he has had a great season so far.

Yep, 1-0 home win over Sunderland.

Lincoln postponed so no game for J.Morrell.

L.Walsh - unused sub for Coventry in 2-2 away draw with Peterborough (Eisa got equaliser)

M.Taylor - think he’s injured (Oxford won 3-0)

J.Paterson - not in 18 (Lost 2-0 to Hull)

J.Wollacott / J.Morton - FGR game postponed

G.Nurse - full debut for Newport, replaced at h-t (lost 3-1 to Colchester)

R.Holden - 72 minutes (lost 2-1 v Mansfield) - no C.Pring in 18 having just returned from injury. F.Hinds not in Colchester 18

J.Smith - 90 minutes in a 0-0 at Port Vale

R.Cundy - 90 for Torquay in 4-2 win v Barrow.  J.Andrews came on as sub for final 21 minutes.  C.Lemoneigh-Evans injured.

Thanks Dave, point of order, Jake Andrews isn't ours anymore.

Matt Taylor may get a chance to play against Man City again in the EFL Cup.

Who is on loan at Colchester? They play Man Utd.

Would surely put him in the running for some weird stat/trivia point - name the player who has played the most matches against Man City in the last 10 years despite never playing in the Premier League?

Edit: Scrap that - just checked and he was on the bench for both of our games and didn't get subbed on in either.

Jonny Smith equalizing goal against Northampton and also Man of the Match !!
?

I was there, he played very well and even Keith Curle (Northampton Manager) said he played very well and they needed to stop him playing.

Nice to hear, coming on strongly now this season 2 Goals League, 1 Goal Cup, 2 Assists in 7 games with last 4 games at full 90 minutes
