I would be really interested to know if the starting line up had played together at any point in training this season. We were slow, disorganised, lethargic and clueless in equal measure, makes a mockery of the pre season work the team supposedly did. Mr Ashton is going to earn his corn next week to recruit up to five players. From today the hard bit is deciding which five to replace as we had 9 or 10 candidates for worst player on the park. It wasn’t all down to Webster being transferred, we should be able to cope to some degree with one player missing. Leeds were short of a couple but it didn’t seem to make them play poorly.
