If this is true then i’d be beyond staggered. Wishful thinking in the extreme. Wouldn’t even be a rumour if EN was on.

Be good if it was mind. Like me being a billionaire / being 6-2 and 20 years younger etc.

It's not 'wishful thinking' - it's a rumour. It's been tweeted by a journalist who specialises on transfers.

No, it may not be a rumour of EN was still on. But things change quickly (as we've seen today). The tweet says this transfer is the result of a knock-on from Cardiff signing Vassell - so may have not even been possible before today.

I think I'm in the minority when I say Palmer just isn't all that good. Far too inconsistent.

To be fair I didn't think we needed him but has the attributes to be a real top player in the championship. With someone like Reid in front of him might do him good

Cardiff. Poss exit for Reid with Vassell arrival. Bristol City keeping an eye on that one. May not be alone

What does "keeping an eye on that one" actually mean here? Is this even a rumour?!

So he played in a new position/new role with us for one season in the Championship and smashed it, and your not convinced he can do it again?

If your logic is based on his last season with Cardiff, that you don't think he can do it again then i disagree. They're not comparable.

I'd have him back in a shot. LJ clearly knows how to use/get the best out of him.

Let's put it this way - I very much doubt he is/would be as good as Nketiah or Dwight Gayle.

I’d have him back in a shot, he’s the player we missed the most last season imo.

Ive seen loads of people mentioning the head tapping thing as a reason not to like him, why’s that? What do you think it means? It’s just something they ask every new signing to do, it’s not a personal insult aimed at Bristol City or any other club.

As I said on the Nketiah topic, I was walking my dog in Headley park earlier and seen bobby Reid get out his car and enter a house, didn’t take a pic cause it would of been weird!

obv being from Bristol there’s many reasons he may have been visiting someone.

Huge energy mate!

I take it you're still camped outside the house?

Wait there, I'll be along shortly with some Pringles and a 4-pack of Natch.

We had him lined up in Jan for a loan so clearly going to be keeping tabs

Pay £10m definitely

Yes but I don’t believe Cardiff will sell him, from what I’ve heard from a Cardiff fan it all revolves around Warnock being annoyed with Bobbys booking in the last game. Can’t imagine Warnock being that annoyed that he would sell a player when he started him in the last game. I reckon this deal is a non starter but I really hope it’s true. Realistically, we would have to be upwards of 12 million IF he was for sale.

If we spent £12million on Reid, I would despair

Well bloody hell, you didn't say that your original post and opinion was because you were comparing Reid to them.

In that case, using the same logic, i'm not convinced Nketiah and Gayle can do it here.......when comparing them to Neymar, Aguero and Mbappe!
