Wouldn’t even be a rumour if EN was on. Be good if it was mind. Like me being a billionaire / being 6-2 and 20 years younger etc. It's not 'wishful thinking' - it's a rumour. It's been tweeted by a journalist who specialises on transfers. No, it may not be a rumour of EN was still on. But things change quickly (as we've seen today). The tweet says this transfer is the result of a knock-on from Cardiff signing Vassell - so may have not even been possible before today.

To be fair I didn't think we needed him but has the attributes to be a real top player in the championship. With someone like Reid in front of him might do him good

I know we were close to getting him on loan in Jan and then the Salah tragedy happened LJ always said he was a £5m player...never thought we would be paying it though!! If your logic is based on his last season with Cardiff, that you don't think he can do it again then i disagree. They're not comparable. I'd have him back in a shot. LJ clearly knows how to use/get the best out of him. Let's put it this way - I very much doubt he is/would be as good as Nketiah or Dwight Gayle. Ohbasso
I’d have him back in a shot, he’s the player we missed the most last season imo. Ive seen loads of people mentioning the head tapping thing as a reason not to like him, why’s that? What do you think it means? It’s just something they ask every new signing to do, it’s not a personal insult aimed at Bristol City or any other club.

Huge energy mate! I take it you're still camped outside the house? Wait there, I'll be along shortly with some Pringles and a 4-pack of Natch. Can’t imagine Warnock being that annoyed that he would sell a player when he started him in the last game. I reckon this deal is a non starter but I really hope it’s true. Realistically, we would have to be upwards of 12 million IF he was for sale.
REDOXO
The more I think about this the more I think it could be what we need.
