Pereira obviously still not 100%.

I don't think Jack had too bad a game v QPR, but he's not as good as many of the men around him. He has his moments of brilliance, but is - in Championship terms - ordinary.

Excellent summary RR. Spot on.

Did you watch Periera at Birmingham? First half he made several unforced mistakes, which could have been down to nerves on his debut, but , coupled with coming back from injury, tonight is not the arena to chance  him .

I did yes probably a combination of things but still he’s a massive upgrade on hunt. Look against Leeds everything came from that side Against hunt. Teams know he’s out weak link

Surprised Walsh didn't make the bench as Centre Mid cover

Guess Rowe could move in there and Callum go LWB.  Not ideal, but would avoid formation change, or go to a flat 3 in midfield, e.g.

Palmer / Brownhill / O’Dowda or Eliasson (If Massengo went off) or

Palmer / Massengo / O’Dowda if Eliasson (If Brownhill went off)

With all the other injuries it would be just our luck that Massengo gets crocked tonight.

Hope I've not jinxed it.

He also needs to be able to trap a pass. Hunt messed up two excellent chances to bear down on goal on Saturday due to poor ball control.

In fairness he wasn’t the only one.

The sun played its part in several misplaced passes and balls going straight out of play .

I just hope the Sun doesn’t play tonight.

Stop the witch-hunting !

People still backing jack hunt! The bloke looked uninterested in both games against qpr and is an absolute liability defensively , as is tommy Rowe by the way. We will get ripped apart down the sides tonight , 4-1 loss.

Derby don't play with conventional wingers (as pointed out on another thread by @DerbyFan ), I'm not so sure about this aspect.

We have ******* shit luck with injuries. Pissing me off now.

We certainly do.

Maenpaa- Came into the season injured, recurring. Now on the return.

Pereira- Debut, got a knock or something.

Wright- Injured

Dasilva- Injured

Smith- Came into the season and is still injured?

Watkins- Not necessarily a big loss but injured all the same.

Nagy- First home game, injured.

Incredible!

Well against QPR everything came down Rowe's side. If anything I feel while we stick with three at the back it is Rowe who will be targeted.

I'm not having a go at him but he isn't really a FB or WB whereas at least that is Hunt's proper position.

In the circumstances we will do well to be around mid table when the January window opens I reckon. Assuming no further injuries.

Why is almost always key players who get injured?!

Medium and long term injuries for an inordinate amount of players has been going on for 2/3 seasons now.......makes you think if the pre-season/training regime is the root cause.

we can’t keep putting it down to bad luck
