Am off to Bridgwater for Manor Farm, hopefully they can get through and get a big club in the next round to boost the coffers

Will be a good game that one. Even though a lower standard Bridgwater are a decent side. Watched them pre season against Paulton and they knocked it about nicely. I predict a tight game and maybe even going to a replay.

My Dad went to their game last weekend. Said they play a good style of football down there.

Manor Farm generally try to, so expecting a decent game and a few goals.

Went to see manor farm beat clevedon, really good game of football. Manor farm play some nice stuff and we’re deserved winners.

Interesting to see Tinnion there though, didn’t seem to be any players who looked at championship level there and we don’t have anyone on loan at either club I don’t think?

He's got a close affiliation with Clevedon and Micky Bell who's manager down there. Watches a lot of their games when he can.

I blame NTTDS !

There's been a train put on from Taunton to Newport (I think) so day hasn't been wasted.

Also the pub prices in Taunton very reasonable.

Pint of Thatchers and a Coors £5.50!

Hoping no trains cancelled later as I got to be in Hanham for 7 and there's only 1 train that makes it.

Manor Farm fully deserved their win. Controlled the midfield for the entire game.

Was a bizarre moment in the first half where a Bridgwater player did a backpass that was more like a shot. Goalkeeper had to dive and used his hands to prevent a goal, nothing given.

At the start of the second half one of the linesman said to me it was definitely a backpass but he couldn't flag it because it wasn't in his half.

Excellent strike for the Bridgwater goal.

Totally outclassed, we were lucky to get nil !

I'm the PA at Mangotsfield and I was tempted, for a laugh, to award the mom to the Blackfield & Langley goalkeeper for keeping Mangotsfield single handedly at bay. Thought that would get up their noses. Tbf he did pull off 3 great saves to deny the Mangos and the Mangos also hit the bar in the first few seconds of the 2nd half. But B & L were a stronger team physically and had a fair few speed merchants at their disposal.

Must come clean..............left at H/T 4-0 down, thought the Test would make better viewing !

Rather like the Test Match and Steve Smith in particular the second half saw us throwing everything but the kitchen sink at them and them somehow surviving effortlessly intact.
