The Fat Controller
Like others, Forest Green is just up the road from me so I'd probably go and give them a watch. Either that or just not bother any more, I'm not entirely sure I could summon the enthusiasm to watch anyone else.
Bristol Rob
Of course, we could all go to the rugby. Section82 could rebrand as SectionABCDEFGHIJKLMNO as a reference to the bygone days of player identification.
Numero Uno
Personally I’d have to watch some kind of football on a Saturday afternoon. Probably groundhop and pick the best non league game in the area.

Wasn't it Bris and Leicester who were the last to change to numbers in the mid 80's? I remember going to the John Player final v Leicester in 1984 (?) when the Bris players linked arms and their shirts spelt 'UP BRISTOL'. A long time ago now and a totally different game. underhanded
Hmmm. I'd support Rovers seeing as they'd be the next-closest league club to me

Well, problem with the Origami League is that it's not part of your standard TV sports package - it's only on paper view.

Ska Junkie
I guess if we ever did fold (god forbid) we would have to start again in tier 7, which is where I believe Bury will have to start from. In our case, the Southern league along with this lot. It makes you feel for the Bury support I suppose. Imagine the clamour for away tickets? Beaconsfield Town Blackfield & Langley Chesham United Dorchester Town Farnborough Gosport Borough Harrow Borough Hartley Wintney Hayes & Yeading United Hendon Merthyr Town Metropolitan Police Poole Town Salisbury Swindon Supermarine Taunton Town Tiverton Town Truro City Walton Casuals Weston-super-Mare Wimborne Town Yate Town

Sturman 1
I'd relive all of OTIB's classics..... and cast a eye on the phoenix club however it just wouldn't replicate the feeling I get on a match day down Ashton Gate.
JBFC II
I’d get a season ticket for Manor Farm, although if a Phoenix club did come up I’d probably support them.

Lanterne Rouge
I doubt I`d watch much of anything TBH, my heart wouldn`t be in it. I remember having the same conversation with friends in 1982 and I think most of us were the same.

BS13 Robin
It would have to be Bridgwater Town for me,its my home town and when I was a kid in the 60s used to watch them at the old Castlefields Ground until I discovered City in 1971
Gert Mare
The club would start again in the lower leagues. Just as with any other club. They never die, they just start up again and the supporters muck in and they quickly elevate. You only have to look at the rise of Newport County. They were truly finished and playing in a park in Moreton-In-Marsh and 25 years later they were back in the Football League.

RumRed
I go to watch Worthing often now, it’s fun but not the same. I don’t have the emotion. Rather weirdly, even at that level, watching the match I’ve learnt far more about the ‘game’ than in all the years of chewing my nails and flailing my limbs at City matches. So different when you’re a step removed. Phoenix club for me if it came to it.

Ska Junkie
Given the obvious passion for our club shown on this thread, as well as many others, can you only imagine the shame our ashamed neighbours must have felt on Colin Daniel day? It must have been terrible for them? Shame eh!
