ChippenhamRed
Hi all, quick query. Looking to online order my son a new shirt. He’s an average size 8 year old, turning 9 in a couple of months. Can anyone with kids advise on the sizing this year - are they on the big side or small side? Size options are 7-8 or 9-10. You'd think it makes sense to buy bigger but something for a 10 year old could be hanging off an 8 year old! Thanks in advance.
Davefevs
Buy 2+ years on top of age. Also, consider even bigger if you want them to wear over a coat.

They tend to be, and made for kids with small heads....although this year’s have a popper.
Ronnie Sinclair
the boy is 8½ so I got him a 9-10 and it fits fine with a bit of 'grow room' in it - correct about the head size as well just as well there is a button!
WSMRobin
Yes, they are on the small size. If your lad is an average size 8 year old I would definitely go for 9-10.
KingLear
We were going to go by the 'size guide' on the website which would have meant a 4-5 years for my 5 year old, but went for one size up (5-6) which fits him perfectly. So i'd go with the consensus and go at least one size up than what the size guide indicates.

Bernard Lerring
On a similar note, does anyone know the process for claiming the free shirt with a kids season ticket? Thanks
