But, does one good season up front in the Championship for us equal proven?

No it doesn’t.

We’ve heard of ‘a one season wonder’ and maybe Reid falls in to that category. The PL last season was a step too far for him and it’ll be interesting to see how many goals he gets this season.

Fulham are obviously set up to provide chances to mitrovic who will always start for them if hes fit. Dont really see why reid would go there to be honest if he wants to be the main striker

Absolutely this. Think Reid will struggle to play constantly for Fulham, let alone as the main striker. Bad decision by Reid to go there imo, think he was wanted by City, he could of come back & been the main man. But we move on & im more than happy with how our transfer window panned out. COYR

Let's hope Cardiff's start to the season is a sign of things to come. Warnock to manage them to lower half obscurity? Yes please.

Yeah to let zahore and reid go is a lot of potential firepower out if the team. Seems like they are in cost cutting mode despite parachute payments, and a lot will be expected of that lad in from germany

It's okay, they've got Tomlin...

Not necessarily, but paying a £9m fee for him makes you think that Cardiff were pretty convinced that it/he was.

He is starting today seemingly in the hole behind Mitrovic, Knockaert and Cavaliero. I would argue he will get a fair few opportunities to score there and even if not will provide a lot of work and creativity for the front three.

That front line is absolutely lethal as well for this level and can be absolutely deadly in this league if they all click.

Bobby’s best position is playing off another striker anyway, as a number 10 rather than an out and out number 9. He offers so much more than just being a finisher.

Yes it does. He’s proven, given 40 odd games up front, he will score about 20 goals.

in fact, as it was his first season up front, he would score more second time round...

How many has he scored so far?

Still stand by my comment that Reid’s a decent player, but Weimann will score more over this season played in a central role.

He’s not been playing. And today when he did play, he played in midfield.

my point wasn’t really about if he would score more than Weimann. That’s another debate
