Ince

Recommended Posts

Good player over the years but can’t stand the bloke.

Watching Dasilva get the better of him when he was at Ashton Gate last season gave me a lot of satisfaction.

I’m just pleased the ****** (insert appropriate expletive of your choice here) didn’t score against us again yesterday.

Looks like that jinx has run out of steam.

One of my least favourite players in the league. Cheating, goading and just a dislikeable ****. Massively overrated too.

Loved seeing Bentley getting the better of him yesterday.

The apple don't fall far from the tree...........does it "Governor" ?

Who bottled it when a big penalty shoot out came.

Plenty of better players than Ince have done that !

Including many centre forwards

I thought they were a very petty, diving team backed up by fans who booed Brownhill for being fouled by Allen.

I'm thoroughly enjoying them being bottom of the league.

A player that used to terrorise our defence with ease.

Seemed to me that Stoke' tream was full of players who used to be good, but aren't any more

Save it for players who don’t have the bollocks to take a penalty....

Isn’t that the point..? He didn’t step up..?

I thought he missed one but if I got it wrong......

Possibly - but I thought it was him not stepping up that left Southgate to take one.

Also, I could be wrong.

EDIT: just looked it up and it was ‘98 World Cup that Ince missed.

Remember when Liverpool were supposedly interested in him?

Just think they might never have then signed Mane and we could have witnessed a sliding doors moment.

Or perhaps instead, Ince would have been found out - he was definitely a good Championship player - now much less so.

Turned down Inter Milan and Monaco too, and according to the related search deemed himself to have outgrown England U21s.

Must feel a long time ago for him now...
