Doubt it has any bearing on attendance, given that all championship clubs stream those games for live viewing anyway. So anybody wanting to watch on TV, rather than attend, would use that medium if Sky red button not available.
Never to the dark side
I think the red button option was announced without any consulation.

red'tili'mdead
Am in London mid-week - so am all over this... Don't really understand the issue tbh and cannot believe it materially affects attendance figs. Watching the game on the red button is a million miles from being in the Away End. Tipps69
What puts me off going is the probable problems with parking around the stadium & despite having a blue badge it’s not going to be any easier to park there.
Leveller
Last one at Griffin Park and I only get to see my son if I go to London, so I’ll probably be there.

JBFC II
I’ll be watching on the red button, night away games are too difficult. Off to Preston instead to meet up with @BS4 on Tour... !

You know, an 'of course I am going' or 'actually being in the away end - priceless' would have been a much better if less true punchline!!! antlers
Since the red button option has been around its only stopped me going to home games. By the time I get home from work I am often struggling to get to Ashton Gate for kick off and decide to watch it at home rather than rush and miss KO. Im going to Brentford and would never choose to watch an away game on tv rather than going if i get a chance of a half day from work.

Reigate Red
No - but then again I don't have sky. I usually buy a ticket for the terrace but have splashed out for the upper tier this time. Is silver service included up there
