bristolcitysweden
Would be nice if Bristol Sport could report about this on the official site. It's not just plastic bullshit though so they might not get the point. Hopefully fans higher up in hierachy can interwean. In Jon we trust. Yep- while I don't necessarily jump on the Bristol Sport are terrible thing, open minded about it, I do wonder- like I said before in 2004 Sexstone IIRC made representations on fans behalf to WMP- ironically it was 10 that time too! Lansdown ran the club back then didn't he- and Sexstone clearly wouldn't have been able to do so without high level approval IMO, so what's changed? I also like the title of the thread- a certain head of security I am sure will be equally appreciative.

Wasn't the cost prohibitive though, which is why they weren't part of the initial action? Plus the fact that a court case would cost so much more- as outlined by @BobBobSuperBob earlier in this thread- the reason there was a settlement out of court from the fans POV- or at least an important part of the reason that it was the case? Would have been great to have it properly settled in court though, but clearly there are downside risks with this.

bristolcitysweden
Progress is not a bad thing but the long term fans should be in the front seat costing the Lansdown family a piss int the ocean. No reason to price genuin fans out.

However at the same time, definitely things I'm not so keen on- 'The Seldom Seen SLO' for a start- seen fit not even to join a platform such as this, with quite a good range of fans! If he can't or won't engage properly on the correct range of platforms- some may say he should get the 'Elbow'. I thought the SLO role was mandated so they had to join various forums to reach the widest audience. Clearly that isn't the case.

Mr Popodopolous
I seem to recall @GasDestroyer a while ago warning of some sort of a 'round up' or something similar? I wonder if this was a part of it, this Millwall case in which 6/10 have to date seemingly been cleared- may well have put a dent in those figures. One for FSA Faircop to be interested in, or not really relevant in that context? I'll admit I know nothing about the case, but if 6/10 are found not guilty with 4 still to appear, you have to wonder...

If that had been a group from any other section of society they would have been applauded. Having been directed along a route by ob without any escort they were spotted and assailed for at least 15 minutes by a very large group of locals only 2 of which were taken to court. Mr Popodopolous
Very interesting stuff. Makes me wonder if there's a bit of an agenda- moreso than usual...by named/unnamed individuals. AS&P- any individuals who work at the club I should wonder too? If 4 pleaded guilty because convinced of a stitch up and it turns out there is not much at all in the case, should this not be revisited, the guilty pleas- or is that it legally in that respect- FSA Faircop or too late/irrelevant now?
