Bolton v Blackpool might be interesting.

I assume that they are a side still trying to find their feet in League one with the problems they've had, would be nice to see if they can go on a run and start reducing that deficit.

Great,........ Womens Football!  While I appreciate some of the technical skills on show, I find it boring and lacking some ingredient that Mens football seems to provide. Not sure if it's passion, physicality or urgency that makes the Male game more exciting?   I  am astounded that Wembley sells out for a Womens international..........whatever cooks yer beans i guess?

I'll be watching England girlies.  At least a couple of them are worth looking at.  Not sure any of them would score much more than a 7 out of 10 though and I guess a few of them bat for the other side anyway 😃

Can somebody come and get their grandad please?

Good grief! We’ve moved back to the 1950s!

Ah, the days before snowflakes.  I'm sure the 50's were a great time for those that lived through them.  I've heard some wonderful stories about football in the 50's when football really was a man's game.

I only watch City these days. Absolutely no interest in any other matches. Can anyone relate to this??

I watch Liverpool on tv whether it’s PL or CL.

I sometimes watch Championship rivals like Leeds,  Baggies or Forest  hoping they get beaten.........

Can anyone explain why England are wearing Portugal's normal colour (dark red) and Portugal are wearing England's normal white?

I got confused by that too! Spent the first 5 minutes of the game cheering the wrong team!

City just got a mention though for one of the Portuguese players played for us a couple of years ago.

Totally. It's been the case for me for I don't know how many years now. Although I briefly almost got interested in England again during the last world cup.

I wouldn't go that far but I do watch a lot less football on TV than I used to.

Instead of a men’s and women’s game?

Germany v Argentina is never friendly 😃😃😃 Might be worth watching.

Low out! Kind of hope they lose so it pushes him closer to the door but he seems impenetrable

I wondered what you meant when you describe Low as seemingly 'impenetrable'?

You can see why I registered my puzzlement then.

I can't see how 'impenetrable' can be construed to mean that in any of it's definitions.

Amusing though.  👍

I don't get the international football bashing.

I understand that there are pointless games and there are mismatches, plus of course the thorny issue of injuries.

OTOH, even not factoring in the obvious attraction of home nations there are interesting games, interesting groups out there to watch as neutrals IMO. We though either often get very weak and predictable groups or as with right now, are too good for our opposition, and a lack of competitiveness can detract from enjoyment. Mind you our group is possibly quite weak too?

Example.

World champions France...currently in a three way battle with Iceland and Turkey. If Iceland had got something in Albania even tighter but 3 points in it, no walkover, as France lost in Turkey.

Closer to home, NI, Germany and Holland- good group! Interesting to see the resurgence of Holland too.

Croat should win their group which also contains Wales- but also Slovakia and Hungary- the latter a local derby, again well matched.
