Probably this guy and one more striker in January. Semenyo then loan out to league one.
BCFCadam
Looks as if Johnson’s scouting mission has paid off! 29 year old Spanish striker, played for Sheffield Wednesday 11 times in 2013, allegedly on the verge of a short term deal according to a few twitter sources. Worth a shot in my opinion.

Just on this, the guy has an instagram https://www.instagram.com/rodririos6/ and it's full of gym photos, and other training. Looks like he's been running up mountains as well. Might not be 90mins-of-Championship-football fit but he's certainly not out of shape.

Well apparently he was brilliant on his Wednesday debut but then not so good. He would have been a fair bit younger then so maybe he is better now. Bit tough for a striker who doesn't look that strong to come over here after years of Spanish football. I think he may be another option. But I expect Fam to be in most games with Weimann. It does show that LJ maybe doesn't fancy Szmodics up top. Watkins obviously not going to get a chance either. And maybe LJ also does not fancy trying Palmer behind just Weimann. Both can play a number of roles but for each role they can play there's a specialist already in that position, therefore they are basically cover and so will get limited time. So I'd have no trouble at all with bringing a proper out and out striker in, give him a contract until January, then review. Gives him 14 games. We take the same attitude as with Williams, if he does well then fantastic, if not then back to the shops in January.
Coppello
Interesting one. I'm not going to pretend I know anything about him but he's spent of lot of his recent career in the Spanish second division. Last season he was a mainstay in a Granada team who were promoted in second place. His most high profile season was in 13/14 where he scored 8 goals for Almeria in La Liga, following on from an unsuccessful loan the year before at Sheffield Wednesday where he score once in 11 appearances. However, I believe only four of them were starts and they were so long ago, they are meaningless when assessing his current ability. We're in a seriously unfortunate position and I don't think anyone can bemoan the signing. I'm really glad we haven't paid over the odds for Gary Hooper, who was rumoured to be after a ridiculous salary. If true, it probably says more about his character that he'd rather go without a club in October, than agree a deal with City. All speculation of course given we don't know what was put on the table by City!

Owl Visiting
Wow, never thought I'd read about or hear of this guy again. Everyone got really excited when we signed him on loan from Barcelona B, just because it was Barcelona basically, who were unbelievable at that point. He scored on his debut and we thought we were witnessing the next Messi, but it soon became he apparent he just wasn't good enough for the Championship at that point, too lightweight and couldn't handle the physical style of football. He's probably a different player now though, so don't want to write him off. His nickname when he was with us became "That Welsh lad" due to the amount of people that kept referring to him as "Rhodri".

Was he skillful and have decent pace?

I am sure that last Taylor Moore interview that was linked on here said he spoke Spanish, along with French and a little Portuguese. *edit* Found it Full-time flourishing centre-back, part-time translator? Moore, who also speaks Spanish and some Portuguese, has helped the France Under-19s midfielder Han-Noah Massengo, a revelation since signing from Monaco, settle, as have French-speaking Famara Diedhiou, Benik Afobe and Kalifa Cissé, who joined Johnson’s backroom staff this summer
Selred
Remember Pukki wasn’t prolific before joining Norwich. Its about having the right player in the right team. If we make chances that he will put away then perfect.
Davefevs
@Lew-T thanks for the clips. I know the name of the player, but couldn’t say I knew what type of forward he was....so ta. 2 hours ago, Port Said Red said: I know it’s YouTube and all that, but the type of goals he scores are similar to Afobe. You could see Kasey Palmer making passes for him like that. A different option to Fam. definitely likes playing on the shoulder. That’s a good sign imho. 9 minutes ago, Selred said: Remember Pukki wasn’t prolific before joining Norwich. Its about having the right player in the right team. We need a striker with Afobe’s injury....we only need an injury to Weimann or Diedhiou and we’re down to one experienced striker left. We’ve got to assume MA will do the right deal if this happens. Guest
Well a compilation of goals soon makes me more positive about a player! Looks both footed, and for a short guy doesn't he get up well to beat defenders with those headed goals. Could this be another genius signing from LJ? TammyAB
Going back to his insta post from when he left Granada, there's quite a few Real Zaragoza fans (3rd in Segunda Division) in the comments who were asking him to join them a few weeks ago - and I guess they've seen plenty of him in the past few years so that's encouraging I suppose.
