slartibartfast
Since the Two Brewers has closed, wouldn't have a clue. All I ca tell you is you'd be ok for kebab shops and taxi ranks ! If you're going by car and leaving early-ish, Hitchin is the place to go, loads of brilliant pubs and about half hour from Luton.
buster115
The football away ground guide website recommends The Beech Hill Conservative Club or The Bricklayers Arms, both are away fan friendly. It says that the Bricklayers Arms does become home fans only for high profile games.

Seems more strongly Labour now though! South East is a strongly Tory area and Luton is SE so I guess, maybe some spillover from Bedfordshire, outlying areas etc.

NcnsBcfc
As someone who lived in Luton for 12 years. The bricklayers is a nice pub, next to the train station. However it is a good 30 mins walk from the stadium. Kenilworth road is based in the mainly Asian quarter of Luton, hence there are very few pubs/drinking places close to the stadium. Will all be a bit easier she the new stadium is built in the city centre in the next couple of years.

May well do a Brighton in terms of progressing forward. Certainly have a large catchment area, and were in Divison 1 last in 93. Council own Kenilworth road, so no value in developing that site.
