Special stadiums will be built of snow and ice and all matches will be played on artificial pitches under floodlights for increased atmosphere, unless the aurora borealus is in full swing. However, due to the high energy levels required VAR will not be used. The draw for the tournament will be made using little brown envelopes by Santa and his helpers. Match balls for all games will be delivered by Santa flying in on his sleigh led by Rudolph.
