OMG - He was named as the referee shocker with the VAR between Arsenal and Palace last weekend. He has little or no experience with English Football when you look him up with only his first gig late last season with morecombe v Colchester. Didn't realise he refereed the Arsenal game, in the clip he goes and looks at the pitchside screen.......why the **** didn't he do that for the ridiculously disallowed goal which should have given Arsenal victory? He was the VAR ref on the Arsenal game, not the on-field one. Which is probably worse as he had the chance to look at several angles and decided that was a foul. He is the first of what will be many Aussie refs leaving their own league to ply their trade on the other side of the world. Until Neil Kilkenny retires from football down under we have to accept these refugees with good grace. After all, we weren't overkeen on his constant moaning and finger pointing either. His PhD funnily enough was about corruption in soccer. After the Perth Glory final it was rumoured he had been given a Mercedes C Class by his father-in-law! My mate adds......’he couldn’t lie straight in bed! But you just have to offer him more than them! He’d probably like a new Merc E Class.’ Shall we quickly start a crowd funding campaign?
