I have 'done the maths' - The correlation coefficient is 0.012597 to be precise. In this case 1 would indicate that as your position in the discipline table falls, your position in the main table also falls (I.e. being disciplined worsens your league position), -1 would indicate that as your position in the discipline table rises, your position in the main table would fall (I.e. being disciplined betters your league position).
