Weird Pathetic response! Nobody has forced me to support City for 70 years. I do it because I want to. But I also want to be entertained and I also want to see us in the top league again. Four years out of that last one hundred and eleven years is a pitiful record for a football club of our size. Harry Dolman once said at a shareholders meeting that "Bristol City will never be a Tottenham Hotspur". Maybe we will never be as big a club, but we should be able to compete with those like Bournemouth, Watford, Burnley, Norwich, Palace, Sheffield United who all spend considerably more time up there than we do. Promotion from the conference via the play offs after throwing away top spot and then he won League Two. In 15 years that's pretty poor tbf. Darrel Clarke has a similar record in less time.
