He had a philosophy, passed on many principles from the mens international game especially about persuading the women that they should learn how to become elite athletes and spoke very inspiringly I thought. The obvious question is: who takes over? There don't appear to be many names on the short list, but when you take into account the FA's track record it's perhaps not surprising.
